We had memorable photos of sunrises and sunsets, including here on Saint Augustine Beach. I wanted them framed to capture those moments for grandchildren who had us visited here. Christian walked me through every step of the way. His recommendations made the decisions about the matting and the framing easy for me, and the end results were beautiful and very professional looking gifts to send to our grandchildren for a reasonable price. Awesome local frame shop with fair prices and a quick turnaround!! Dropped off my rare 1916-17 WWI NAVY recruiting poster and was helped on how to use borders and colors to make it POP! I was told it may take a few weeks because of the archive materials that I wanted to preserve the piece. To my surprise I was called four days later (over a holiday weekend) so really two days and told it was done!! Picked it up today and was totally satisfied with this local frame shop. Support Local, Buy Local, Shop Local!! Florida Man approved!

This was my first time using this framing shop. They appear to help one person at a time. So even though I had to wait, I was afforded the same individual attention as the previous customer. I am not sure if I dealt with owner or manager but he helped me pick out a terrific frame and it was done in a timely fashion. I am very happy with how it turned out. Framing is expensive wherever I seem to go but the price seemed in line with what I expected.

I moved to Palm Coast two years ago. I've been producing oil on canvas paintings of local scenery. Many of the paintings are on the thicker stretcher bars. I was hoping to find a local frame shop where I could entrust my paintings and have them framed beautifully. Well, I found my go-to framer and that is Island Framers and Gallery. The gallery is attractive and the immense selection of frames outstanding. Christian runs the gallery. He is the founder's son. Christian is very kind, most helpful in selecting the proper frame, and extremely patient. He has an impressive selection of frames for every budget. I paid a little more than the big box stores, like Hobby Lobby and Michaels, but it was well worth it. Where as the big box stores measure your artwork and then order the frame which is assembled at a warehouse, Christian meticulously measures your work, orders the molding, and then cuts and assembles the frame in his shop. He also covers the backs of the frames with black paper which is a nice, professional touch. When the framing is ready, Christian presents the framed painting with the frame wrapped and protected by plastic wrap. Within the past several months, I have had ten paintings framed by Christian and they all look fabulous. I want to mention that one of the frames had a few nicks in it, which I brought to Christian's attention. He reframed my painting without any questions and at no charge. I wrote this somewhat long review because I am immensely pleased with Island Framers and Gallery and will be bringing my paintings to be framed by Christian for years to come.
